Information for Authors

The Journal of Control Theory and Applications (JCTA) publishes high-quality papers on the theory, design and applications in the systems and control field. This journal is published quarterly. Three types of contribution s are regularly considered:

   1. Survey Papera review of well established or newly emerging research topics, new techniques, etc.

   2. Regular Paperwell developed theoretical results or applications.

   3. Brief Papernew techniques, concepts, perspectives, comments, etc.

Submission of a manuscript signifies that it has been neither copyrighted, published, nor submitted or accepted for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts must be typewritten in English. All submitted manuscripts should be as concise as possible. A brief paper is limited to 4 journal pages, which are equivalent to 8 pages. A survey paper or a regular paper is limited to 6 journal pages. Manuscripts that do not conform to this requirement will be returned to the authors. The papers of length exceeding 8 journal pages are strongly discouraged. The Editor reserves the right to refuse considering such papers.

Please register as Author if you submit your paper(s) for the first time. After registering, you will receive a confirmation letter of registration, via email, and then you can submit the paper(s) after login. When you submit the paper, you are required to download JCTA COPYRIGHT FORM.doc to sign it before senting it to us by email/fax/post.

   (2) A cover letter (e-letter is OK) is necessary.

   (3) Authors of accepted papers are requested to supply their brief biographies (100 word or less) and photographs. For style, see biographies in IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control or Automatica.
